Patt & I did our derndest last summer to represent for Missouri/Midwestern style fiddlin' at the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes in Port Townsend, WA. Patt & I had been there twice before -- in 1996 & 1997, accompanying Nile Wilson and Pete McMahan along with guitarist Rich Levine of Seattle and John Stewart of Columbia, MO.
We met lots of fine folks and had one great time. One of our most memorable occasions was a near 7 hour jam session with one of own fiddling heroes, Bluegrass legend Blaine Sprouse. What a time!!
